Vacation Bible School is (almost) officially over! We still have our closing ceremony and our family cookout extravaganza to go tonight. I'd thought my duties as music teacher were over, but apparently I'm leading the music during the closing tonight.
Eleven, yes, you read that right, eleven kids made decisions to follow Christ this week. To me, that just plain ROCKS!
Another awesome side-benefit of VBS is that somehow I've managed to lose 7 pounds. Wow. Who knew that moving for 2 1/2 hours each night til your joints hurt (not that it takes that much for me) would result in that??? Granted, I hadn't stepped on the scale in two weeks, but I was shocked when I stepped on the scale today. Now-- if I can just lose the rest of it..... *whine* I seriously have a long way to go, but maybe this'll be the jump-start I need!
