I don't usually give reviews, but today we went to a new restaurant in Charlottesville...and I wanted to share. Spouse can testify to the fact that I am not very adventurous culinarily. (No, that last one isn't really a word, but it should be.) However, today, his mom and step-dad came up our way and wanted to hang out at the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. Of course, as is always the case, lunchtime rolled around and we did what hungry lunchtime people do- we sought out the services of a resta
I was delightfully surprised that not only did I like it, so did my kids-- including our oldest son, Aaron, who HATES any kind of unexpected change, including in menu. Daniel loved the fact that he could lounge while he ate, since they have cushions and pillows upon which to lean. Aaron really loved the food, and Emily liked the ambiance, though you can tell in their pic that they really didn't appreciate mom bringing a camera. Lydia even liked it.... when I asked what she liked best, she said the whole package, including the elephant painted on the wall.
If you happen to be in Charlottesville, VA, you should stop by. They're located at 520 East Main Street. Really great food, atmosphere, an elephant and couch-lounging while you eat. Did I

It's always an adventure to try out something new. Some times we even surprise ourselves that we have discovered a new thing that we really enjoy. BTW the restaurant looks charming.
I had to LOL when I saw the photo of your 2 attractive but very dismayed children...that look of; "Oh no, she has the camera...AGAIN !" :D
I get that same look from my hubby all the time, oh the joys of being a blogger!
Congratulations on approaching your 400th post, that is quite an accomplishment.
